Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management. This role also includes hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all Pharmacy employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintains operating expenses based on an annual operating budget
• Provides training to all new employees
• Maintains effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other team members
• Safeguards all material handling and transportation equipment
• Supervises cycle counting process
• Supervises physical inventory counts during inventory process
• Ensures pharmacy operations meet all department mandated timeframes and deadlines
• Prepares and conducts annual performance reviews for pharmacy staff

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline Preferred, Five years’ warehouse operations management experience Preferred, Experience in healthcare distribution or pharmacy Preferred, Experience utilizing WMS software Preferred
• Licenses, Certifications, & Training: Pharmacy Technician certification and registration as required by state, otherwise preferred, Valid State Driver’s License, Required
