Pharmacy Clinical Specialist NICU

About the role
The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist is an experienced practitioner with advanced clinical skills who provides direct patient-specific pharmacotherapy and clinical services to hospital patients following current, evidence-based guidelines and in conformity with applicable medication management standards. This role serves as a medication management resource to the patient care team.
Qualifications
- Current Nevada license to practice pharmacy or eligibility required.
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) leading to a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
- Completion of an accredited residency program or Pharm.D. with a minimum of three years clinical pharmacy practice in a predominantly collaborative pharmacotherapy setting or B.S. of Pharmacy with a minimum of five years clinical pharmacy practice in a predominantly collaborative pharmacotherapy setting.
- Current Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or other clinical specialties is preferred.
- Prior experience providing pharmacotherapy in a collaborative institutional setting.
- Prior experience providing education/instruction to health care professionals.
- Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience required; NICU experience preferred.

Pay
Hourly wage estimate: $64.16 - $83.41. The estimate represents the typical wage range for candidates hired. Factors such as specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role may determine actual salary.
