Responsibilities

  • Direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and the company's policies regarding the same.
  • Complete national registration, certification or licensure as required.
  • Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgment.
  • Compound medications according to state and any other regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
  • Support non-dispensing services through the use of various platforms, resources, and applications.
  • Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law as well as company policies.
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age
Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required
Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
