About the role
The Pharmacy Benefits Account Manager (PBAM) is a new role supporting HUB’s Pharmacy practice in delivering PBM strategy and data-driven analysis. The PBAM will collaborate directly with Pharmacy Consultants on the RFP process, ad-hoc reporting, and client-facing deliverables. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of pharmacy benefits, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and prepare pharmacy data for analysis and deliverables.
- Use multiple tools to obtain data, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Proactively manage projects, workload, and initiatives as assigned by the HUB Pharmacy Practice team.
- Track and update core business activities for operational and strategic advancement.
- Support lead pharmacy consultants on client engagements and meetings.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of standardized pharmacy workflows and analytics strategies.
- Build productive, professional relationships with the HUB Pharmacy Practice team.
- Some travel is required.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and/or pharmacy consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of the PBM industry, stakeholders, intermediaries, and buyers.
- Experience evaluating and explaining PBM models, pricing types, and products.
- Strong understanding of the PBM contracting lifecycle.
- Experience managing and updating CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Monday.com).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Six Sigma designation is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in deliverables and reasonability reviews of reports.
- Experience working independently in remote or office settings.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a cross-functional environment with a sense of urgency.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including:
- Outlook: Managing email volume and calendar.
- Excel: Proficiency in VLookup, SUMIFS, and other data functions.
- PowerPoint: Assembling content in standardized templates.
- Word: Reviewing, tracking changes, and comparing documents.
- Power BI experience preferred.
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to work in a team environment.

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.
