Pharmacist - Utilization Management (UM) - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Pharmacist - Utilization Management (UM) - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This remote opportunity is focused on pharmacy utilization management and coverage review within a highly regulated environment. The pharmacist will evaluate prior authorization requests, apply medical policy, and research cases to support accurate coverage determinations. This role also involves maintaining system records, helping ensure proper claims routing, and partnering with internal teams to support compliant and timely decisions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $102,700 – $164,600 annually Responsibilities Evaluate physician requests for prior authorization against medical policy Conduct additional research as necessary for coverage determinations Update system records to ensure proper claims routing Make coverage determinations using the Utilization Review system Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required 1-3 years of pharmacy experience required Registered Pharmacist certification required Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective oral and written communication abilities Benefits Office-based working environment Opportunities for teaching and training others Minimal physical demands with lifting up to 10 pounds Access to confidential customer information requiring adherence to compliance standards Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
