Job Overview
The Pharmacist-Clinical Generalist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Qualifications
- Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred
- Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy
- Working knowledge of health care matters
- Hospital Pharmacy experience desirable
Certifications and Licenses Required
- Registration in New Jersey as a Pharmacist, New Jersey licensure required
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures
- Exercise considerable independent decision-making
- Provide advanced clinical services to assigned specialty areas
