Pharmacist

About the role

As a pharmacist at Walgreens, you’ll provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educate and consult on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options, deliver clinical healthcare services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management, ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance, and mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
