Position Summary
To accept primary responsibility for the provision of clinical and distributive pharmaceutical services.
About the role
The position requires a B.S. or PharmD. in Pharmacy, a New Jersey Pharmacist license, and one year experience in hospital pharmacy preferred. Basic knowledge and experience with unit dose dispensing systems and admixture programs are required. Basic understanding of computer operation is necessary, along with a general knowledge of clinical pharmacy skills and drug information practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and distributive pharmaceutical services
- Perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods
- Work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff
- Handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
- Solve problems and set priorities
- Respond quickly to emergency requests
- Aid in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Requirements
