About the Role

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Pharmacist to be a part of its Pharmacy unit. As a member of the Medicaid Pharmacy team, you will provide expert guidance and oversight to support the Ohio Medicaid Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and assistance to pharmacists participating in the Ohio Medicaid Program, including development of prior authorization criteria
• Assist in the management of the Medicaid Pharmacy Program
• Provide oversight of the Medicaid pharmacy benefit administrator and Single Pharmacy Benefit Manager
• Advise the Drug Utilization Review and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees
• Provide managed care pharmacy program oversight
• Review state and federal rules and regulations related to pharmacy

Requirements

• Licensed to practice pharmacy as issued by State Board of Pharmacy, pursuant to Section 4729.12 of Revised Code
• 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

$52.86 - $73.46/hour
