PHARMACIST - PER DIEM/ON CALL

About the role

Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards. This includes administrative, pharmaceutical, and professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at this facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy in compliance with legal, accreditation/certification, and facility requirements
• Oversee administrative, pharmaceutical, and professional functions related to pharmaceutical care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Program
• Minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmaceutical experience preferred
• Experience overseeing medication requirements for patient populations treated in this facility, including knowledge of dosage for age-specific populations
• Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Washington state
• A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements

Pay

Wage Range: $53.20/hour – $80.47/hour

Schedule

8-hour shift; must be able to work at least two shifts per month; 8AM–4:30PM
