Job Duties
- Performs study-related pharmacy activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory standards.
- Manages investigational products (IP) across the full lifecycle, including ordering, receipt, storage, inventory, preparation, dispensing, monitoring storage conditions, and disposal in accordance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation of investigational product accountability, pharmacy binders, and study records, ensuring compliance with institutional, sponsor, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures proper handling, preparation, and dispensing of investigational products, including maintaining required environmental controls and adherence to applicable standards (e.g., USP when applicable).
- Collaborates with investigators, study teams, sponsors, monitors, and regulatory agencies to support study execution, including participation in study trainings and monitoring visits.
- Manages protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Current licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research pharmacy experience.
- Sterile compounding experience.
