Pharmacist Oncology/Hematology - Sharp Grossmont Hospital

About the role

You will be providing expert clinical pharmacy services for our oncology and hematology patients receiving infusion and specialty therapies. You will be performing clinical consultations, patient monitoring, and pharmacotherapy management, including supportive care services. You will also be educating our patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on medications, treatment plans, and symptom management.

Requirements

• Education pursuant to licensure requirement
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS) - American Heart Association
• California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with experience in Oncology or a specialized clinical residency in Oncology and Hematology care
• BPS Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) - Board of Pharmacy Specialties

Other Qualification Requirements

AHA BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $77.91 - $100.53 - $112.59

Full Time - 10 hour - Day Shift
