Pharmacist In Charge (Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist in Charge with bilingual proficiency in Spanish to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide exceptional patient care in both English and Spanish to support our diverse patient community.

Pay: $120,000 ‒ $130,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Provide professional and courteous service, offering medication counseling and health advice to patients in both English and Spanish.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, therapeutic outcomes, and medication management.
• Ensure accurate and efficient prescription filling processes, minimizing errors and maximizing patient safety.
• Maintain records for controlled substances, inventory management, and billing processes.
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure the pharmacy's competitive edge.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve pharmacy services and patient care experience.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
