Responsibilities
- Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
- Maximize contribution by prioritizing daily tasks and supporting the team
- Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, empowering staff and building personalized relationships
- Gain buy-in and empower the team to be accountable
- Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed on time and efficiently
- Use best practices to make sound business decisions
- Mentor others on Publix pharmacy best practices
- Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
- Work flexible hours to meet customer needs
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- A graduate of a school of pharmacy
- An unrestricted, state pharmacist license
- No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
- No unacceptable results on a company-sponsored drug test within the past three years
Preferred Qualifications
- Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Numerical and financial aptitude
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
