Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Maximize contribution by managing daily tasks and supporting the team
• Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and building personalized relationships
• Build rapport with both customers and associates
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet customer needs
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
• Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed promptly and efficiently
• Use pharmacy technology systems effectively for routine and complex prescription processing
• Mentor colleagues on best practices for maximizing sales, minimizing shrink, and meeting customer needs
• Support pharmacy initiatives and assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy
• Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable results on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
