About the role

As a Publix Pharmacy Associate, you'll join a passionate team dedicated to serving customers and communities. Our pharmacy departments offer clinical services like immunizations and medication therapy management.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, empowering staff and building personalized relationships
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs
• Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed efficiently
• Advocate for pharmacy clinical initiatives like MTM and immunizations
• Support pharmacy technology systems and processes
• Mentor colleagues on best practices

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy
• Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable drug test results within the past three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
