Responsibilities
- Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
- Maximize contribution by prioritizing daily tasks and supporting the team
- Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and building personalized relationships
- Build rapport with both customers and associates
- Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs
- Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed on time
- Advocate for pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
- Use pharmacy technology systems effectively for routine and complex prescription processing
- Mentor colleagues on best practices to enhance sales, minimize shrinkage, and meet customer needs
- Support other pharmacy duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Graduate of a school of pharmacy
- Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
- No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
- No unacceptable drug test results within the past three years
Preferred Qualifications
- Immunizing pharmacist with state requirements met or scheduled to meet
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Numerical and financial aptitude
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
