Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Maximize contribution by managing daily tasks and supporting the team
• Build rapport with both customers and associates, providing best-in-class pharmacy service
• Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and personalized relationships
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs
• Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed on time
• Use best practices to make sound business decisions
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
• Support pharmacy technology systems and processes
• Mentor colleagues on Publix pharmacy best practices
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy
• Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable results on company-sponsored drug tests within the past three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements or scheduled to become one
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
