Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Maximize contribution by prioritizing tasks and supporting the team
• Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and clinical services
• Build rapport with both customers and associates
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet customer needs
• Manage team performance and ensure complex operational activities are met
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
• Use pharmacy technology systems effectively
• Mentor colleagues on best practices

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy
• Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable drug test results within the past three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist status (or scheduled to become one)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
