About the role
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. It supports oncology patients in the inpatient oncology setting, including medical oncology and hematologic malignancies, playing a crucial role in their care.
Responsibilities
- Support oncology patients in the inpatient oncology setting, including medical oncology and hematologic malignancies, playing a crucial role in their care.
- Establish a strong clinical pharmacy practice focused on patient-centered care.
- Medication Management: Comprehensive medication reviews, order verification, and patient counseling.
- Treatment Optimization: Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize drug therapy plans, ensuring efficacy and safety.
- Specialized Oncology Expertise: Develop proficiency in intravenous and oral anti-cancer therapies for both solid and hematologic malignancies.
- Operational Excellence: Contribute to the efficient operation of pharmacy services within the oncology areas, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
- Prior inpatient experience is preferred.
- Board certification in area of expertise within 1 year of employment preferred.
Qualifications
- PGY2 residency in Oncology, OR PGY1 residency + 1 years of Oncology Clinical experience, OR no residency and 3 years of Oncology Clinical experience preferred.

Pay
$59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Schedule
Part Time, 56.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks), 7 on 7 off evenings with weekend day shift Shift: Days and Evenings
