Pharmacist

Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a talented Pharmacist for a contract position in In-Office, San Luis Obispo, CA, United States. The position is a Day shift role, with familiarity required for pediatric and neonatal age groups. This role requires current Epic experience and call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and fills medication orders
• Maintains patient medication therapies
• Provides drug information
• Identifies and troubleshoots medication safety hazards
• Documents all interactions for medical review
• Supervises and directs support personnel

Requirements

• Graduate of school of pharmacy
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
• One year's technical experience preferred
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Pharmacist license in the state of practice required

Qualifications

• Current Epic experience
• Experience with IV compounding
• No scrub requirements for pharmacists

Skills

• Medication safety awareness
• Quality assurance procedures
• Process improvement
• Vendor selection based on medication safety standards
