Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a contract position at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. The shift is 7 on/7 off, Wednesday to Tuesday, with work hours from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. On-call hours cover every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- ACLS & BLS certification
- AZ Pharmacist License
- AZ License
- Hospital experience
- IV certification
- EMR: MedHost
- No residency experience or board certification required
- No option for 48-hour guarantee
- No option for blocked scheduling
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Physicians on drugs and dosing
- Education of nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications
- Meditation Safety initiatives
- Avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reactions
- Mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
- Narcotic accountability
