Responsibilities
- Fulfills daily incoming receiving tasks, ensuring goods are received promptly.
- Maintains a daily receiving and inventory log.
- Prepares packing slips and other shipping documents for outgoing shipments.
- Reports discrepancies to supervisor and follows up on shipping schedules.
- Verifies shipments are shipped on time and ensures timely delivery at the most economical cost.
- Coordinates with shipping carriers, internal and external customers.
- Packages and labels shipments accurately and ensures proper stock of packing supplies.
Skills
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Familiarity with computers for tracking goods.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Prior experience using FedEx and UPS software tools.
- Proficiency in Excel Pivot Tables and basic Excel skills.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale distribution, or pharmacy operations, with at least one year within the last three years for California's DR requirements.
- Current Florida CDR and California Designated Representative licensure, or willingness to obtain these certifications promptly upon hire.
- Physical presence full-time as required by applicable state law.
- A high school diploma with a couple of years of experience, or an Associate’s degree preferred.
