Petroleum Transport Driver - Friday to Monday

About the role

Join the Tiger Fuel team as a full-time Class A Transport Driver. You'll drive a transport truck to gas stations and other commercial locations, load and unload bulk fuels, complete assigned paperwork, and maintain vehicle safety. The role involves monitoring loading and unloading equipment (pumps, valves, hoses) to ensure safety for yourself and customers. The Weekend Warrior schedule is Friday through Monday, 2 pm to 2 am (shifts subject to availability). Weekend Warriors are eligible for a weekend shift differential based on attendance and can pick up extra shifts for overtime. You'll be home every day—no over-the-road travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive a transport truck to deliver bulk fuels to gas stations and commercial locations
• Load and unload fuel safely and efficiently
• Complete assigned paperwork accurately
• Maintain vehicle safety and monitor equipment (pumps, valves, hoses)
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, logistics, and customers
• Verify quantities and volumes using high school-level math
• Read and understand road signs, instructions, routes, and other paperwork
• Demonstrate patience and professionalism during load/wait times and traffic

Requirements

• CDL A license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements and a valid medical card
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving large trucks
• Physically capable of loading/unloading transport trucks, including pulling hoses and climbing onto the tanker
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, and carrying hoses/nozzles weighing 50 lbs
• Experience driving in snow, ice, and other weather conditions, and maneuvering in tight quarters
• Acceptable driving record with no major convictions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen

Working Conditions

• Primarily outdoor work, driving large fuel vehicles
• Long periods of driving
• Physically challenging: climbing on/off trucks, fueling, and handling equipment
• Exposure to dust, fumes, high noise levels, and occasional hazardous conditions (weather, tight spaces, blighted areas)
• May require alternative shifts, long hours, or additional loads in compliance with DOT regulations

Pay

$27 per hour, increased to $28 after training.
