Petroleum Transport Driver - Friday to Monday

About the Role

Join the Tiger Fuel team as a Class A Transport Driver! We're looking for an outstanding individual to contribute to our legacy of excellent service and safety. As a full-time Transport Driver, you'll be responsible for driving a transport truck to gas stations and commercial locations, loading and unloading bulk fuels, completing paperwork, and maintaining vehicle safety. You'll work Friday through Monday, from 2 pm to 2 am, with potential for overtime and a weekend shift differential based on attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a transport truck to deliver bulk fuels to gas stations and commercial locations
• Load and unload bulk fuels using equipment such as pumps, valves, and hoses
• Complete assigned paperwork and maintain vehicle safety
• Monitor loading and unloading equipment to ensure safety for yourself and customers

Requirements

• Possess a CDL A license with haz-mat and tanker endorsements, and a medical card
• Minimum of 1 year experience driving large trucks
• Physically capable of loading/unloading trucks, including pulling hoses and climbing onto tankers
• Able to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, climb, and carry hoses/nozzles
• Experience driving in various weather conditions and tight quarters
• Acceptable driving record with no major convictions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• High school level math competence to verify quantities and volumes
• Ability to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes, and paperwork
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen

Working Conditions

• Primarily outdoor work, driving a large fuel vehicle
• Physically challenging position with climbing and fueling
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and high noise levels
• Occasional driving in hazardous conditions, including weather and tight quarters
