About the role
Nwestco LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician in Portland, OR. This is steady, year-round work with a solid company that keeps you busy. Pay range starts at $25/hr and goes up based on experience and includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.
Responsibilities
- Work on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and tank monitors
- Service fueling systems and petroleum equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Provide preventative maintenance and repairs
- Respond to service calls at commercial fueling sites
- Work independently but have a strong team backing you up
Requirements
- Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service
Qualifications
- Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are a plus
- Willingness to support continued training for the right candidate
