Petroleum Equipment Service Technician

About the role

Nwestco LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician in Seattle, WA. This is steady, year-round work with a solid company that keeps you busy.

Responsibilities

• Work on fuel dispensers (Gilbarco & Wayne)
• Service fuel pumps & STPs
• Inspect and maintain underground & aboveground tanks (UST / AST)
• Install and configure Veeder-Root tank monitors
• Perform leak detection systems
• Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical issues
• Provide preventative maintenance & repairs
• Respond to service calls at commercial fueling sites

Requirements

• Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service

Qualifications

• Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are a plus

Pay

Pay range starts at $25/hr and goes up based on experience.
