About the role

This is a salaried position responsible for assigned operational projects in the JF Petroleum Group across Florida. The primary focus is supporting ongoing regional construction, service, and operations. The candidate will quickly learn and gain a working knowledge of business systems and processes, completing all assigned safety, systems, and process training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects focused on business operating systems and process improvement across multiple departments in Florida.
  • Gain working knowledge of functional business systems and reporting tools, including Procore, Installation Cost Budget Tracking, MS Teams, MS Project, and other business reporting tools.
  • Develop familiarity with construction and service organizations by spending time in the field observing and supporting active projects.
  • Learn and adopt all safety protocols.
  • Gain understanding of the Accounts Receivable process and support priority initiatives around past due and collections.
  • Support new branch openings and branch operations as assigned.
  • Attend and complete all assigned training.
  • Collaborate extensively with installation, construction, and operational executives across the assigned region.
  • Prepare estimates as needed.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong petroleum industry experience.
  • Strong leadership and management experience.
  • Ability to succeed in a large and complex matrixed organization structure.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must meet company’s employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR (if driving for the company).

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 10 pounds.
  • Visual acuity, speech, and hearing.
  • Hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
  • Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform essential functions.
  • Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
