Job Description
Competitive pay and benefits, including a sign-on bonus, are offered. Scope: Responsible for coordinating and administering all CT/Sims and diagnostic radiologic exams; ensuring technical quality and timely transfer of data; and fabricating necessary immobilization devices as needed.
- Administer radioactive tracer (F18 FDG) as well as IV contrast.
- Perform and maintain quality control procedures for PET imaging.
- Perform functional imaging (PET) scans for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for routine radiologic exams.
- Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes.
- Fabricate immobilization and other treatment devices.
- Perform chest x-rays.
- Engage in rotational call.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.
- Registered by ARRT and NMTCB with a current license by the state of Louisiana.
- 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist.
- 2 years experience as radiological technologist.
- CT experience preferred.
- Phlebotomist training preferred.
