Pet/CT/Nuc Med TECH AIDE

Key Responsibilities

• Review charts for physician orders, previous reports & imaging
• Clean and stock the rooms.
• Transport patients back and forth from departments.
• Promptly and efficiently answers the phones.
• Takes accurate messages.
• Maintain patient orders to ensure proper exam/diagnosis/physician requirements are being met.
• Cookes CDs for patients following medical release procedures.
• Burns CDs for patients following medical release procedures.
• Use RHIO/Healtheconnections to obtain reports and imaging if needed.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Review all stock for outdated/expired items monthly.
• Schedule all PET and NM exams.
• Cookes CDs for patients following medical release procedures.
• Cookes CDs for patients following medical release procedures.
• Coordinate with offices for order updates if needed.
• Put work/supply orders in as needed for the department.
• Be able to take instruction/direction from various modalities.
• Miscellaneous duties as they arise.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year as a CT Scan Aide (Preferred)
• Professional Skills And Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks, Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality, Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
