Pet Crematory Operator/Dispatcher

About the role

Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Care Coordinator/Dispatcher to oversee daily operations at our cremation facility. We provide dignified cremation services for beloved pets and treat them with the utmost care and respect. This full-time position includes one weekend shift per week and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties to ensure the safety of staff, equipment, and facilities.
• Lead and inspire a team of Care Providers/Drivers to deliver exceptional service.
• Conduct high-quality, private cremation services (training provided).
• Plan and schedule driver routes for pick-ups and returns to homes and veterinary clinics.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all driver-facing communication via phone, proprietary software, text, and email.
• Maintain attention to detail while serving multiple families, ensuring an error-free standard.
• Monitor the movement of drivers to meet scheduled pick-ups and returns efficiently.
• Respond to customers and veterinary staff promptly and professionally, providing thorough support.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and presentable state of the crematory facility and company vehicles.
• Occasionally lift, push, and pull objects up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Occasionally stoop, bend, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds for short distances.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

• Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects with assistance.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes four 10-hour shifts, including weekends.

Pay

$20–$20 hourly wage.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift.
