Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
  • Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations and educate customers on pest prevention methods.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
  • Maintain and stock pest control equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Operate a company provided service vehicle safely and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
  • A high school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver’s license from state of residence.
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
  • Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
  • Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills – You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
  • Customer-facing experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Related experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.

Skills

  • Ability to work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
  • Experience working around animals, insects, and termites.
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work both inside and outside in various climates.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator.

Pay

Hourly: $18.00 - $25.00 While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).

Schedule

Full-time colleagues are eligible to begin enrollment immediately upon hire with benefits starting on day 1.
