About the role
The role involves managing pest control operations in commercial settings, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Inspecting facilities for signs of pests and documenting findings.
- Developing and implementing pest management plans.
- Using appropriate pesticides and equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicating with clients and staff about pest issues and solutions.
- Documenting all activities and maintaining records.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in pest control or a closely related field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of pest biology and control methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Pest control techniques and safety protocols.
- Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of building structures and systems.
