Pest Control Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team as a full-time Pest Control Technician. This position is primarily field-based, serving the area around Greenville, NC, and will report to our office in Wilmington, NC once per week. The ideal candidate thrives in both team and individual work environments.

Pay

$17 - $21 per hour with uncapped bonuses. Additional financial incentives include an annual Circle of Excellence trip and savings from driving a company-provided vehicle.

Schedule

Full-time position with a work schedule that includes every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and best pest solutions
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; full training provided
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past 4 years)
• Pass a drug test and background check
