About the role
Rooted in immigration since 1849, the ministry serves among the ethnic Chinese community—a people group of about 200,000 first-generation immigrants (up to 1 million including descendants)—in Lima, Peru. The ministry works in over 6,000 “Chifa” restaurants, merchandise trade, grocery stores, or professional fields like education and engineering. With low evangelical presence—fewer than 500 believers and only about 150 in active fellowships—six districts still await church planting.
Responsibilities
Expect hands-on ministry in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish settings, cultural adaptation, mentoring sessions for reflection, and teamwork in holistic church multiplication.
