Personnel Specialist
Job Description and Duties
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the general supervision of a Transactions Team Leader, the incumbent reviews and audits all new employee and action request paperwork for completion and accuracy; keys Personnel Action Requests and Employee Action Requests for all types of appointments and separations, and interprets government codes, laws, and rules. The incumbent also initiates and keys leave benefit tracking for vacation, sick, annual leave, personal holiday, etc.; and receives, audits, and documents negative and positive attendance payroll reports, and keys intermittent, overtime, and miscellaneous payments.

The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
