Personnel Security Specialist

About the Role

A Personnel Security Specialist II manages personnel security functions to support the organization’s security programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tracking systems for security activities.
• Support security awareness and education initiatives.
• Provide administrative support as directed by leadership and security officials.
• Review and monitor security clearance processing with government personnel.
• Conduct investigations and reviews for SAP access eligibility.
• Maintain personnel access records in databases.
• Manage classified visit requests to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years related security experience, including 4 years in SCI or SAP roles.
• Knowledge of security policies, manuals, and relevant directives.
• Preferred SAP experience.
• Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to undergo a polygraph.

Physical & Communication Requirements

• Ability to stay stationary and move within an office environment.
• Proficiency in operating office equipment and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
