Personnel Attendant- Caregiver

We are looking for experienced, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life.

About the role

You can start working 1:1 with clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice on an ongoing basis. Positions are available within 72 hours of hire.

Pay

• 4–6 hour shifts: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
• 8–12 hour shifts: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Live-in position: $18.42 per hour, overtime after 9 hours

Schedule

• Flexible shifts: mornings, days, and overnights
• 4–6 hour and 8–12 hour shifts available
• Live-in positions available
• 7-day availability, start immediately

Responsibilities

• Assistance with daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring
• Assisting with walking/ambulation
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship
• Medication reminders
• Running errands
• Driving and/or accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – CA State requirement (Salus can assist with certification if needed)
• Livescan fingerprints for FBI background check
• TB test within 90 days of start date
• Legal authorization to work in the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance (if driving clients)
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
