Personnel Attendant- Caregiver

About the role

We are currently looking for Personal Care Assistant/Caregivers to fill multiple shifts including Mornings, Afternoons, Weekends, and Overnights in the following locations in West Los Angeles: Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, San Fernando, Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino, Chatsworth, Northridge, Woodland Hills, and more surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arriving to clients' homes on a timely manner
• Assisting clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning, and moving patients between beds, wheelchairs, and seats
• Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintaining confidentiality of all clients' information according to HIPAA standards
• Notifying the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Representing the company with a positive image at all times
• Serving female and male clients

Schedule

• 7 days availability
• Part time: 4–6 hour shifts available
• Full time: 8–12 hour shifts available

Pay

• Part time: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
• Full time: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – CA State requirement; involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for an FBI background check (Salus can assist with this process if you are not currently certified)
• TB test within 90 days of start
• Ability to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients
