Personnel Attendant- Caregiver

We are looking for experienced, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life.

About the role

You can start working 1:1 with clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice on an ongoing basis. Positions are available to start within 72 hours.

Pay

• 4–6 hour shifts: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
• 8–12 hour shifts: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Live-in position: $18.42 per hour, overtime after 9 hours

Schedule

• Flexible shifts available: mornings, days, and overnights
• 7-day availability required
• 4–6 hour and 8–12 hour shifts available
• Live-in positions available

Responsibilities

• Assistance with daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring
• Assisting with walking/ambulation
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship
• Medication reminders
• Running errands
• Driving and/or accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – a California state requirement involving registration as a Personal Attendant and Livescan fingerprints for an FBI background check (Salus can assist with this process if you are not currently certified)
• TB test within 90 days of start date
• Legal authorization to work in the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
