About the Role
The Personal Travel Concierge is the first point of contact with the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and introduces the unique opportunity of our yacht vacations to potential direct guests in the USA, Canada, and Latin America. In this elite-level sales role, you will manage a database of guests who have expressed interest in sailing with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. You'll build strong guest relationships, provide white-glove service, VIP access, and real-time support. This is a sales position with earning potential of $80,000 - $150,000 annually (Base + Commission).
Responsibilities
- Curate exceptional journeys by recommending yacht itineraries, onboard experiences, and shore excursions.
- Make 75-100 daily outbound calls following up with guests that have expressed interest on our website or have requested more information on our product (No cold calling).
- Handle inbound sales calls from guests and answer questions about destinations, amenities, and pricing.
- Maintain detailed CRM records and ensure timely follow-up on every lead.
- Embrace feedback, stay coachable, and pursue sales goals with determination and a proactive mindset.
- Live The Ritz-Carlton service values every day, ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to legendary hospitality.
- Offer ancillary services like: Travel Protection, Air & Hotel, and Excursions.
- Follow our exclusive Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Sales Process.
- Learn and utilize the reservations system to assist callers with each aspect of the booking process.
- Maximize opportunities to increase sales revenue by offering additional amenities and ancillary products.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a sales professional in a high-end travel or sales environment.
- A proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets and revenue goals.
- Experience working in a call center environment, taking both inbound and outbound interactions.
- Clear, persuasive communication with strong relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with technology, using CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools like Teams.
- Flexible in schedule—available for evenings, weekends, and holidays to serve guests in various time zones.
- Equipped with a dedicated home office: wired high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and a quiet workspace.
Additional Skills
- Bilingual - fluent Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Maintain positive, pleasant behavior while engaging customers & colleagues.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and understand policies & procedures related to reservations.
- Strong desire to learn all aspects of the product, including land, air, hotel & shore excursions to sell & service each reservation effectively.
Schedule
- Full time (40-hour work week).
- Hours are shift-based and may include evenings when guests are most available.
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays.
Pay
Earning potential of $80,000 - $150,000 annually (Base + Commission).
