Personal Lines Srvs Rep

What You Will Do

As a personal lines customer service representative, you will perform tasks and duties that support the service needs of clients and agency management. Your responsibilities will encompass marketing activity, client service, support, reporting/analytical, and administrative functions. You will be expected to meet and maintain production and quality standards while cross-selling and supporting new business sales efforts.

• Ensure completion of requested account and policy updates and changes.
• Answer sales calls, provide quotes, and issue policy changes according to business needs.
• Review and process renewals, recommending coverage enhancements as applicable.
• Inform clients of policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and insurance coverage needs.
• Handle daily and monthly reporting requirements related to the agency management system and operational needs.
• Analyze reports and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in auditing work product to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Complete other job-related duties as needed to support our Vision, Purpose, and Organizational Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of personal lines insurance experience or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience using Vertafore AMS 360 agency management system.
• Full knowledge of personal lines insurance products and their applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform within time constraints.
• Ability to work in a flexible and high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform a large number of steps in a complex system with accuracy and speed.
• Ability to assist in new business sales and retain existing business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex issues, interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.

Qualifications

• Audit experience (ideal).
• Knowledge of insurance claims, rating procedures, coverages, underwriting, and industry operations (ideal).
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and NCUA regulations (ideal).
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
