Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and processing personal insurance policy changes.
- Aid clients in understanding their coverage and options, ensuring they have adequate protection.
- Handle new business requests, prepare quotes, process endorsements, and manage policy renewals with accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Cook with insurance carriers on underwriting requests, endorsements, and claims support for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, documenting all interactions and updates in the agency management system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and coverage enhancements to provide expert guidance to clients.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Comply with regulatory and company standards, preserving confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
- State Insurance License for personal lines or willingness to obtain one (licensing support may be provided).
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with customer management systems, online insurance platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Previous experience in an independent insurance agency or similar setting.
