Personal Lines Agent

About the role

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Agent to join a growing team. The successful candidate will manage a robust book of business, focusing on personal lines such as home, auto, umbrella, and ancillary commercial insurance. This position offers flexibility with the option to work onsite, hybrid, or remotely after an initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business with a premium size of $3.5 million.
• Handle inbound client inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Write and manage policies for home, auto, umbrella, life insurance, and small business commercial accounts.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 service representatives to ensure seamless client support.
• Utilize the EZLynx agency management system for efficient operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top carriers, including Progressive, Liberty, and National General.

Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Required for personal lines insurance.
• Proven track record in personal lines insurance, with familiarity in handling accounts ranging from $4,000 to $100,000 in size.
• Proficiency in EZLynx or similar agency management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Adaptability to work in a flexible environment (onsite, hybrid, or remote).

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with top carriers such as Progressive, Liberty, and National General.

Pay

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
Commission: 35% on new business and renewals
Bonus: Profit sharing after achieving $1 million in premium
