The successful candidate will communicate and coordinate with colleagues across the organization to deliver optimal care for clients and achieve divisional and organizational objectives.

As a representative of the organization, you will align personally with our values as reflected in the LD&B BLUEprint and model these values daily. You will communicate directly with clients, prospects, partners, and vendors through various channels to educate, problem-solve, process requests, identify solutions, and create calm depending on situational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the personal lines insurance marketplace to meet client needs.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor toward clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and customer relationship skills, utilizing division products and services to meet client needs.
  • Manage a standard-sized or moderately complex group of clients and collaborate with colleagues to serve all clients within the division.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, courteous, and customer-focused service, including responding to questions, resolving complaints, processing requests, providing information, researching problems, and developing solutions.
  • Provide feedback to the Division Manager on the efficiency and effectiveness of customer service processes and collaborate to develop, implement, and meet division goals.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all activity in agency and partner data management systems.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance with a strong work ethic and commitment to success.
  • Consistently model the organization’s BLUEprint values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Current appropriate licenses, certifications, or credentials necessary for the division, including maintenance of same, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of completing tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all information security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be physically able to work 38 hours per week.
  • Able to sit for long periods, including while extensively using computers and associated technology.
  • Must have the ability to hear, see, and speak.
  • Able to stand, sit, walk, use repetitive small motor activity, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and ascend or descend stairs.
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must perform with a high-energy level and handle stressful situations daily.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Able to drive and travel unaccompanied in diverse weather conditions.

Pay

$21.61–$40.04 per hour.
