Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships, taking ownership of account activities to ensure efficient and accurate service.
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims processing.
- Advise clients on comprehensive coverage, shifting focus from price to value.
- Conduct coverage and exposure reviews with existing clients to ensure adequate protection.
- Reach out to clients with adverse loss experience to address concerns.
- Contact new clients within 30-45 days of policy effective date for personal introduction and issue resolution.
- Review potential non-renewal issues with management and discuss reinstatement or rewrites with carriers.
- Quote and issue mid-term rewrites as exposures change.
- Review renewal increases over established thresholds; negotiate rate relief or market policies as needed.
- Contact clients who cancel or request cancellation to understand reasons and attempt to retain business.
- Communicate with insurance underwriters to resolve issues and protect client insurability.
- Document all client and carrier interactions in the company system for team accessibility.
- Update client contact information, emphasizing email and best contact phone number.
- Advise clients on preferred premium payment methods (EFT, recurring credit card, paid-in-full).
- Create and follow up on tasks in the company system to ensure proper client servicing.
- Handle Reg. 34 issues and follow up with DMV to resolve license/registration suspensions.
- Keep clients informed throughout all processes.
- Meet established metrics for account servicing, referral activity, call volume, attendance, and quality control audits.
- Handle routine service matters when PL Assistants are unavailable (e.g., Carco, payments, ID cards, binders).
- Stay informed on insurance coverage issues, underwriting guidelines, and premium-saving credits.
- Participate in seminars and classes for skills and knowledge development.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (College Degree preferred).
- Property/Casualty License required; must maintain through continuing education.
- One to three or more years of insurance experience preferred.
- Strong expertise and knowledge in policy coverage.
- Customer service experience required.
- Proficiency in menu-driven software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay
Minimum USD $22.60/Hr. Maximum USD $33.93/Hr.
Schedule
40 hours per week.
