Client Advisor - Personal Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Personal Insurance division is seeking a passionate, people-oriented service professional to develop, implement, and deliver outstanding insurance and risk-management customer service. You’ll tailor personal risk-management solutions to each client’s unique circumstances, supported by hands-on training, consistent feedback, and collaboration with driven sales professionals. Mentorship, resources, and development opportunities are provided to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming service requests by working with customers and carriers, informing, educating, and making recommendations.
• Manage new and renewal insurance marketing: negotiate with carriers, prepare presentation and proposal materials, collect customer information, and order insurance policies.
• Analyze coverage acceptability and placement, and provide clients with recommendations for improved or additional coverage.
• Update and maintain accurate customer account data in the agency management system.
• Identify and follow through on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with colleagues.
• Provide effective and efficient customer service as part of a designated sales and service team.
• Follow organization policies, procedures, and workflows, ensuring quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality and contribute positively to the team.
