Responsibilities
- Work as part of a department team to assist clients with inquiries, including policy questions, billing issues, coverage questions, cancellations, and other services as needed.
- Utilize all forms of communication, i.e., phones, emails, etc., to communicate with clients, carriers, etc.
- Manage customer inquiries and file documentation, including communications/conversations and emails, etc.
- Maintain client files - review and update client information as needed.
- Order policies and request endorsements from the company as required.
- Verify client coverage and provide policyholders, banks, and/or lenders with proof of insurance paperwork.
- Monitor and work within the department task list, as well as completing one's own daily task list.
- Provides solutions and resolves issues for clients in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
- A High School Degree or Equivalent.
- Excellent working knowledge of the computer and the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software.
- Ability to analyze work assignments and know when to ask for assistance in order to complete the assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs and solicit feedback to improve service.
- Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments.
- Takes responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from account managers and department manager.
- Strives to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills.
