Maintenance Technician
About the role
You will operate a wide variety of hand, power, and precision tools to perform mechanical maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment by isolating faults, disassembling components, and repairing or replacing parts (e.g., bearings, gears, structural components)
Execute preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure reliability and optimal performance of equipment and systems
Safely inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment—including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, cooling towers, boiler systems, and valves—and perform equipment alignment as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and accuracy
- Support Maintenance & Turnaround (TAR) planning and execution, including documentation and follow-ups
- Affiliate with predictive maintenance programs (vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc.)
- Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to equipment failures and collaborate with reliability teams on corrective actions
- Accurately document maintenance activities (corrective & predictive) in CMMS systems
Requirements
You are required to have a High School Diploma.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
You have two to five (2–5) years of relevant experience in industrial or mechanical environments strongly preferred, including journeyman millwright or machinist experience, general maintenance of industrial equipment, compressor systems and compressor maintenance, and industrial mechanical maintenance.
