Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Job Description

• Plans case development by studying case information and conferring with other attorneys.
• Researches law, utilizing precedent and reasoning.
• Persuasive Writing; writes motions, briefs, and appeals.
• Manages cases by monitoring schedules, expediting requirements, and obtaining and forwarding information.
• Supports attorneys at trial and hearings by organizing evidence and exhibits, taking notes, scheduling witnesses, and discussing.

Mandatory Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Plaintiff personal injury litigation, preferably with commercial cases, trucking, and products liability.
• First chair jury trial experience.
• Corporate and expert deposition experience.
• Witness deposition experience (taking and presenting).
• Pleading preparation experience (all briefs, complaints/petitions, motions, etc.).
• Party and third-party discovery experience (preparation and response).
• Federal court experience.

Compensation

Salary: $150,000-200,000; commensurate with experience
